Marketing Strategies For Nissan X-Trail and Nissan Micra.
Project Details : Analysis of current marketing strategies by Nissan, identifying the communication gaps and suggesting an appropriate marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and attracting the target segment. An emphasis on using social media as an effective marketing tool was projected which was well received by the jury. Final presentations given to an esteemed jury consisting of Prahlad Kakkar, Renuka Kirpalani, Mini Menon and Harish Bijoor. Project Highlights – Selected as Nissan Student Brand Manager from 2843 candidates and was offered a honorary position for a period of 6 months to carry out brand activation campaigns for Nissan in Bhubaneswar area. |
Jaypee Cement : Studied the Sales and Distribution processes at Jaypee Cement in the Orissa market and benchmarked the same against the market leader OCL ( Orissa Cement Limited). Identification of problems in Jaypee Cement’s Sales and Distribution management processes and suggested strategies to improve the same. A case study was also developed on the same. |
Wipro Technologies Summer Internship.Project Details : Explore opportunities in the high velocity markets for Wipro. The project involved macro-economic, PEST analysis of the Nordic region and identification of trends in the market, the size of the IT market and the competitors and the key customers present in the Market. Based on the analysis a GTM strategy was prepared for Wipro to increase its footprint in the Nordic Region.2. Analysis of the EMEA telecommunications market - the market size, key trends, market players, SWOT analysis. Based on the study, a strategy was prepared for areas in which Wipro should concentrate to increase its market share in these high velocity markets. Project Highlights – Received an excellent feedback for the work done as an intern and was awarded a Pre-Placement Offer |
Marketing Research and Strategy Formulation For Smokin’ Joe’s Pizza, Xavier Square, Bhubaneswar.Project Details : Smokin’ Joe’s was facing stiff competition from the newly opened Dominoes Pizza outlet. Both quantitative (Jaccard,SWOT) and qualitative research(FGD) were done to find out the category drivers for the pizza market. The research provided steps that Smokin’ Joe’s can take to increase its market share and differentiate itself from Dominoes Pizza. |
